Supports parents whose children are at risk of joining gangs and sexual exploitation. Network groups and meetings are held across London to enable parents to identify the signs and access resources for crime prevention.
Offers a Youth Enterprise Programme for young people who are currently not in education, employment or training or at risk of school exclusion. Workshops are delivered in community centres, education settings, such as secondary schools and pupil referral units.
In partnership with the Lighthouse Community Cafe in Harrow on the Hill and other venues across London, parents are given the opportunity to return to work in the hospitality and catering industry. Supporting parents to obtain their Food Hygiene Certificate and gain valuable experience running a community cafe.
Eat Well and Be Active
This project delivers healthy eating workshops to children and families in primary schools and community settings. Project Mums trains and develops workshop leaders to deliver its programmes in primary schools across London.
Project Mums is social enterprise set up to break the cycle of family poverty and build resilient families.
